DIVAS RIDING MOTORCYCLES OVER 6,300 MILES FOR BREAST CANCER
Divas For A Cure Breast Cancer Motorcycle Run rolls into Boston

ATLANTA, Ga (June 28) - Moving from the back seat of the bike to the front, rolling for a cause,
four “divas” will ride their motorcycles into Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, July 25th, driven by
a passion with a purpose.  The annual motorcycle run is organized by Divas For A Cure (DFAC),
a service-based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising cancer awareness through early
detection, education, screenings and supporting research for eradicating cancer.

Motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts will join the Divas at the Boston Harley-Davidson in
Everett, Massachusetts on Friday, July 25th  at 6:00 pm when they arrive for their meet and greet
event. The ride’s featured “Divas” include DFAC President and Founder of the organization, Jan
Emanuel-Costley, DFAC Vice President Aj Coffee, and two riders Cynthia Marcy and Elaine
Thomas. “We are proud to have the support of Harley Davidson this year”, said Jan Emanuel
Costley.  “And with The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club
serving as our road captain and escorts, we look forward to another successful and safe ride”.
The DFAC run will include “Meet and Greet” events at various participating Harley-Davidson
dealerships along the route where people will have the opportunity to make donations or
register to ride a portion of the route.

In its third year, Divas For A Cure raised $50,000 last year for breast cancer research, riding
cross country from Los Angeles to Maryland and back.  The organization is looking forward to
reaching a target of $100,000 from this year’s ride.  The DFAC motorcycle run is scheduled to
take place from July 16 to Aug. 4 with donations presented to the University of Texas M. D.
Anderson Cancer Center after the completion of the ride.

The 6,300 mile ride is scheduled to depart from Atlanta through with a route that will take them
through Canada, to Boston then on to the National Bikers Roundup in Greensburg,
Pennsylvania, returning to Atlanta on August 4. The DFAC motorcycle run includes stops at
various Harley-Davidson dealerships where the “Divas” welcome the community to show their
support by making a donation to the cause, registering to ride with the group to the next city or to
support their efforts.  Harley-Davidson dealership stops include:

Harley-Davidson of Greensboro, Greensboro, NC. (July 16)
Harley-Davidson of Clayton County, Morrow, GA (July 19)
Harley-Davidson of Louisville, Louisville, KY (July 20)
A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson, Columbus, OH (July 21)
House of Harley-Davidson, Greenville, WI (July 22)
Motor City Harley-Davidson, Farmington Hills, MI (July 23)
Boston Harley-Davidson, Everett, MA (July 25)
Harley-Davidson of Ocean County, Lakewood, NJ (July 26)
Harley-Davidson reception at the Annual National Bikers Roundup at the Westmoreland
Fairgrounds, Greensburg, PA (July 31)

"Our mission is simple”, concludes Emanuel-Costley.  “Breast Cancer Awareness and Early
Detection are key to survival. I am living proof.  We are simply ordinary women trying to do
extraordinary things to impact the lives of women in our community, and change the image of
women in motorcycling.  We are committed to the cause until there is a cure."  More details on
the route are available online at www.divasforacure.org.
