| BUFFALO SOLDIERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB OF BOSTON, MASS Application for Membership |
In order to apply for membership, you must be at least 21 years of age,
own a fully licensed, registered and insured touring motorcycle of at least
1100 cc's. Applicant must be sponsored by a member considered to be in
GOOD STANDING and must submit a completed B.S.M.C. Boston
application along with a $25.00 non-refundable application fee. The
applicant must not have been a member of any other motorcycle club for
at least one (1) year prior to applying. Applicant must have ridden with the
B.S.M.C Boston on a minimum of three (3) road trips and supported all club
events.
Applicant will be acknowledged as a PROBIE by unanimous vote of 75% of
all members present at a regularly scheduled meeting. Upon acceptance
of membership the candidate enters into prospect/probationary (PROBIE)
status with the understanding of the following rules:
1) Probationary periods are one (1) year in duration.
2) PROBIES are not required to pay dues during the probation period.
3) Have no rights of any kind (voting or otherwise).
4) Attendance of a minimum 10 monthly meetings.
5) Mandatory participated in all club related events.
6) Will purchase their own vest (within club guidelines). Nothing will be on
his vest except a name tag.
7) Upon acceptance of the PROBIE to regular member status, a fee of
$90.00 will be required to cover the cost of colors.
Regardless of your probationary status, you are representing chapters of
The Buffalo
Soldier Motorcycle Club. Like all members you will be expected to
conduct yourself in an honorable
manner at all times, and promote the Good Name of the Club.
